Data collection and use for processing contracts and opening customer accounts
We collect personal data when you voluntarily disclose it to us when placing an order, when contacting us (e.g. using the contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. The data being collected can be seen on the relevant input forms. We use the data you provide to process contracts and handle your enquiries. Once the contract has been fully processed or your customer account has been deleted, your data are blocked for any further use and, upon expiry of the mandatory retention periods under tax and commercial law, they are deleted, insofar as you have not given your express consent for your data to be used for another purpose. We may also reserve the right to make further use of the data as permitted by law. Further details of such use are provided below. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to one of the contacts listed below.
Third-party hosting services
Data are also processed by a third-party provider that we have engaged to render hosting and website presentation services on our behalf. This provider processes on its servers all data that are collected in the manner specified below when you visit our website or fill in forms made available for this purpose in our online shop. Data are processed on other servers only in the scope described herein.
This service provider is based in an EU or EEA member state.

The collection, processing and use of the data required are carried out in accordance with PayPal’s terms and conditions.
Use of data when subscribing to the e-mail newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will regularly send you our e-mail newsletter based on your consent, using the data required or disclosed by you separately for this purpose.
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter service at any time. For this purpose you can either send a message to the contact option specified below or use the opt-out link in the newsletter. Upon unsubscription, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by the law, of which we inform you in this notice.
Our newsletter is sent via the provider Mailchimp. Your e-mail address, your name (if you provide your name) and the use of the newsletter will be stored by Mailchimp in the USA (for further information we refer to the privacy policy of Mailchimp). Mailchimp is currently certified according to the Privacy Shield.
Product recommendations by e-mail
As a customer of LIMA BEACHWEAR GmbH, you will receive regular product recommendations by e-mail. You will receive these product recommendations irrespective of whether you have subscribed to our newsletter. In this way we aim to send you information on products from our range that may be of interest to you based on your recent purchases. In so doing, we adhere strictly to the statutory regulations. Should you no longer wish to receive product recommendations or any promotional messages, you can request to stop receiving them at any time without incurring costs other than the basic cost of transmitting the message. An e-mail to info@limabeachwear.com or to the contacts listed below (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient. You will of course also find an unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
E-mail advertising if you do not subscribe to the newsletter and your right to opt out
If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not opted out, we reserve the right to regularly email you offers for products from our product range that are similar to those you have already purchased. This serves the protection of our legitimate interests in promoting and advertising our products to customers that are overriding in the process of balancing of interests.

Data security
Your personal details are transmitted over the Internet in encrypted form using an SSL certificate during the order process. Credit card details are not stored, but are collected and processed directly by our payment service provider, Saferpay. We employ technical and organisational measures to safeguard our website and other systems from loss, damage, illegal access and alteration or transmission of your data by unauthorised persons. You can only access your customer account once you have entered your personal password. You should always treat your payment information as confidential and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, particularly if you use a shared computer.

Using of social network plugins of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest
Our website uses so-called social network plugins (“plugins”).
